Mr. Prahlad Rai Agarwala, Chairman and Executive Director
Mr. Prahlad Rai Agarwala is our Executive Chairman. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law from University of Calcutta, Kolkata. He provides strategic direction to the Company and is the driving force behind the establishmet and growth of the Company. He has more than 40 years of experience in the textile industry. He has been a member of our Board of Directors since February 6, 1985. Mr. Agarwala was awarded the lifetime achievement award in the 7th Reid & Taylor awards for retail excellence organised by the Asia Retail Congress, 2011.

Mr. Ghanshyam Prasad Agarwala, Vice Chairman
Mr. Ghanshyam Prasad Agarwala is our Vice-Chairman. He has more than 35 years of experience in the textile industry. He has been a member of our Board of Directors since July 13, 1987.. He has been instrumental in the development of the Company. 

Mr. Kunj Bihari Agarwala, Managing Director
Mr. Kunj Bihari Agarwala is our Managing Director. He has more than 30 years of experience in the textile industry. He has been a member of our Board of Directors since February 25, 1985.  He is a specialist in the marketing & distribution of Company’s products. He has played a key role in the setting up of systems and process of distribution & marketing division of the Company. He guides the company and its management at all the stages of its development and strategic decisions.

Mr. Ramesh Agarwal, Whole-time Director
Mr. Ramesh Agarwal is a Whole-time Director of our Company. He holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from University of Calcutta, Kolkata. He has more than 20 years of experience in the textile industry. He plays a key role in the production planning & distribution of Company’s products. In his current term, he joined our Board on July 29, 2009.

 Mr. Mukesh Agarwal, Whole-time Director
Mr. Mukesh Agarwal is a Whole-time Director of our Company. He has more than 15 years of experience in the textile industry and has played a key role in the setting up of systems and process for distribution & production planning. In his current term, he joined our Board on July 29, 2009.

Mr. Shree Krishna Khaitan, Independent Director
Mr. Shree Krishna Khaitan is an Independent Director of our Company. He holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from University of Calcutta. He has more than 25 years of experience. He joined our Board on February 14, 2000. He is the moving spirit behind Khaitan Group of Companies and is the Chairman of Khaitan Electricals Limited and of Khaitan (India) Limited. He has been a member of various trade associations and chambers of commerce and actively associated with many charitable and philanthropic organisations

Mr. Radhe Shyam Agarwal, Independent Director
Mr. Radhe Shyam Agarwal is an Independent Director of our Company. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary.  Mr. Agarwal is the Co-founder of Emami Group of Companies; he is endowed with a brilliant financial acumen. He is on the Board of several Companies such as Emami Ltd., Emami Paper Mills Limited, The Zandu Pharmaceutical Works Ltd., AMRI Hospitals Limited, South City Projects (Kolkata) Ltd. He is closely associated in various capacities with many Chambers, Cultural, Charitable and Social Service Organizations. He is the past President of Merchants Chambers of Commerce, served as Director on the Board of West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation. He joined our Board on February 1, 2003.

Mr. Dharam Chand Jain, Independent Director
Mr. Dharam Chand Jain is an Independent Director of our Company. He has more than 45 years of experience in the field of textile and knitted fabric industry. He is currently the chairman of K.D. Sarees Emporium Private Limited. He joined our Board on January 31, 2003.

Mr. Sushil Patwari, Independent Director
Mr. Sushil Patwari is an Independent Director of our Company. He has more than 40 years of experience in the field of cotton yarn and knitted fabric industry. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Federation of Indian Export Organisations. He is currently the executive chairman of Nagreeka Exports Limited. He joined our Board on November 17, 2003.

Mr. Vinod Kumar Kothari, Independent Director
Mr. Vinod Kumar Kothari is an Independent Director of our Company. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He is the former chairman of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He is an author, trainer and expert on specialised areas in finance, including securitisation, asset-based finance, credit derivatives, accounting for derivatives and financial instruments, microfinance, etc. He has written many renowned books and articles.
